Maple Toast Syrup
8 slices bread, toasted
2 C maple syrup
2 C coconut water
Cocktail
1 ½ Tbsp Scotch whisky (Aberfeldy recommended)
2 ¼ Tbsp whole milk
1 egg white
1 tsp butter, unsalted
Pinch of sea salt
Walnuts, crushed, to garnish (optional)
Berries, to garnish (optional)
Cooking time: 5 minutes (excludes sous vide cooking)
Recipe yields about 3 ½ cups of maple toast syrup—enough for 17 cocktails.
