South Beach Wine & Food Festival
Famous chefs and thousands of foodies descend on South Beach to soak up sun and culinary knowledge.
The 17th Annual South Beach Wine & Food Festival, hosted by the Food Network and the Cooking Channel, features five days of celebrity chef cameos, inventive cocktails, and themed meals—think a veggie-centric brunch hosted by Jean-Georges Vongerichten, a kosher barbecue with Jonathan Borowitz and Michael Solomonov, and plenty of poolside cocktails.
Expect plenty of partying, SoBe-style: Smash Mouth performs after Thursday’s “Barilla Bites on the Beach,” an Italian-themed evening hosted by Giada de Laurentiis (be sure to snag a copy of her new latest cookbook, Giada’s Italy). On Saturday, DJ Hannah Bronfman keeps energy levels high during the “Sweet Moves” party hosted by Bobby and Sophie Flay.
Proceeds from the Festival benefit the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Florida International University.
